  • 10 Simple Pleasures

    This meme comes from Donna

    1. Fresh flowers on the table.
    2. My grandson’s smile.
    3. Reading beside hubby in bed.
    4. Music of Nicholas Nickleby filling the room.
    5. Fresh oranges from Costco.
    6. Laundry folded and put away.
    7. Sunshine steaming the roof.
    8. Clean toilets.
    9. Hearing my son sing/whistle while he works.
    10. Finishing anything.

Do you see the flowers I’ve posted?  My dear DIL, a floral designer, gave those to us.  What are 10 simple pleasures in your life today?

  • Flowers….such a simple pleasure….very thoughtful of your d-i-l.  The colors would go well in my living room, where the only flower is an Easter Lily at the moment.

  • Love the post and love your new picture. I can see your WW progress!

    Blessings,

    Sandy

  • Thanks, all of you. I loved your list Tanabu (what?? does that mean? – did you tell me already?). The roses are wide open (it’s Thursday) and still delight me. Sandy, my wonderful DIL gave me a gift certificate for a hair cut at the most exclusive salon in town. I was delighted that the award-winning stylist could take my wavy hair and make it straight. I had my son take a picture to capture the moment. WW is going slowly but steadily. Thanks, a thousand times, for the encouragement.

  • Tanabu was the highshcool I attended in Japan the year I did an exchange program…

Brenda…glad your flowers are still doing well!
