Call it sibling rivalry. When I saw my two older brothers working on this level of Sudoku, I had to prove that I could do it too decided to give myself a challenge. Why is Sudoku so engaging? I did finish my first 16 x 16 grid. All it took was time. Lots of it!
Do you Sudoku?

It should come as no surprise to you that Butch is a big fan of Sudoku – “Mr. Trigonometry.” I call him that now and then because when we lived in Santa Monica, we each decided to take a class at the community college there. I took an American Fiction course, and his choice was Trig. I couldn’t even believe it!!! Just for fun. Anyway, Audrey is also a big fan, so I got her an electronic Sudoku toy from Brookstone, which she practically jumped out of her chair for joy over
There’s nothing like finding that perfect adult toy for one of your daughters, every ten years or so!
Havent yet….
My (grown) kids are addicted to it. They have the electronic ones as well. I love it but don’t get much time to do it. I ‘d rather curl up with a paper one anyway. (And me with that side of my brain missing!!)
I have tried Sudoku several times and have yet to solve one. The paper ones drive me crazy when I get to the en and find I have an error. For Christmas, I asked for the wooden set with tiles that you can arrange and rearrange. Terry had one in his hands at Barnes and Noble, but it didn’t wind up under the tree. I may have to buy myself a birthday present. LOL.
