    What spring looks like in Eastern Oregon

    The year’s at the spring,
    And day’s at the morn;
    Morning’s at seven;
    The hillside’s dew-pearled;
    The lark’s on the wing;
    The snail’s on the thorn:
    God’s in His Heaven–
    All’s right with the world!

    ~ Robert Browning

    “There’s nothing remarkable
    about [making music].

    All one has to do
    is

    hit the right keys
    at the right time
    and
    the instrument
    plays itself.”

    ~ Johann Sebastian Bach
    born today in 1685.

    I believe
    that every person
    ought to have
    a regular dollop
    of J.S. Bach.

    ~ Magistra Mater

    There was more color last year.

  • You hit the right notes every time. Love you!

  • I agree that everyone ought to have a regular dollop of J.S. Bach! Although I am not sure that “the instrument plays itself” for all of us quite like it did for him!

  • And I agree! But doesn’t Bach make it sound so easy! I would love to always hit the right notes at the right time but it just doesn’t happen that way for us ordinary people!
