Listening as I type, what a varied compilation!
How are the cello lessons coming?
OH yea! Yo Yo! When I watched him perform the cello part of the Don Quixote, I could see him become the Don. . . amazing! (On Great Performances, not in person, sadly.) What a musician.
I’ll have to listen. Unfortunately CDs aren’t in the budget right now, though…
Sometimes I really miss being in Birmingham where I could listen to famous musicians for a $10 student ticket. I never got to hear Yo-Yo Ma live, but I did get to listen to Gil Shaham.
Carol, thanks for telling us about these CD’s. You find the best. Books too.
Oh, I have to get this one!!!! Thank you for bringing this cd to my attention — I hadn’t heard he had anything new coming out, so I am grateful to you! (love Allison Krause and JT, too
). Blessings, Laurie
