  • Feasting on Stories

Why does anybody tell a story?
It does indeed have something to do with faith,
faith that the universe has meaning,
that our little human lives are not irrelevant,
that what we choose or say or do
    matters,
    matters cosmically.

    ~ Madeleine L’Engle

    What is better than
    good food and drink
    on a table,
    chairs crowded round,
    laughter, chatter
    and
    stories?

    Smiling…remembering yesterday.

  • Like Mrs. Schaeffer has said,*Food and meal-times shared have always been thought of as a closer kind of communication than simply talking to people, without eating together.*

Seems like George Grant has a great quote about good theology producing great food?  or do I have it backwards?

  • There was lots of food and talking yesterday where we were too.  :0)  Had planned to be home by nine…..Pulled in at eleven!
