At first it seemed so dark, not uncharacteristically so, but as I continued to study the painting, it began to lighten up. I guess my eyes were adjusting to the dimness.
Is that some sort of basket or container on the lower right?
I loved watching the television series Bewitched when I was a youngster, but I never paid any attention to the painting’s on the wall of the set. How a propos!
@hiddenart - Thanks so much for the link. I changed the brighter image for the dimmer one. It is weird to realize all the details that mostly go unnoticed.
