Could it be — huckleberry??? Is it that time? Did I miss it already?? Or was that back in July and I missed it altogether AGAIN. Hmm. Kimberly mentioned there were some bursting blackberries at the Farmer’s Market there in your town…you’ve started quite a delicious mystery. I hope to can some jalapenos en escabeche this Saturday; I’ve got a prolific pepper plant needing to be picked. :0)
