What a nice *way with words*
You definitely qualify as a *wordsmith*

A good question, Mel. I thought about it, I did. In one sense we are the Bible to other people. But in another sense the Bible is Divine revelation. It was my *high* regard for the Word of God that held me back. Writing "You are my Bible" next to "You are my Trollope" just seems irreverent to me.
I even played with different characters "You are my David, blah blah blah" but that was distracting.
Never shy about offering my opinion, I concur with Carol.
Just because the Bible isnt mentioned doesnt mean it isnt ranked highest on the list. Kind of goes without saying, especially in light of the books which are listed.
